Uniform shop

Eagle Junction State School is a uniform school and it is expected that children will wear the correct uniform when participating in school activities, and excursions conducted outside the school.

The uniform shop is located under the Admin block, directly opposite the Memorial Gates in Roseby avenue.

It is open on Friday mornings from 8.00 am to 9.00 am for the purchase of new and some second hand uniforms.  The uniform shop operates extended trading hours as required, particularly toward the beginning and end of the year. Extended trading hours are advertised in the school newsletter.  The Uniform Shop can be contacted by email at

The convenor of the uniform shop is Clare Everest. Clare ensures the uniform shop is open at the allocated times, it is fully stocked and co-ordinates the volunteer roster.

The uniform shop sells good quality pre-loved uniforms at discounted prices. Where children have grown out of uniforms, please donate these to the uniform shop. Parents must ensure articles have been freshly laundered and are in good repair.

Preps uniform

The uniform required for prep students is slightly different to the uniform for students from year 1-6. The main omissions from the prep uniform is the tartan dress and tartan shirt.

Navy unisex shorts must be worn with a unisex blue polo shirt with navy collar (and two pale blue stripes and an eagle logo printed on the front). A navy wide brimmed school hat must be worn each day. A navy sweater, pullover or vest may be worn on cooler days. Eagle Junction ankle socks are also available.

Ideally black or navy blue Velcro shoes or sandals are worn to school and the students develop the responsibility for taking shoes and socks off and putting them away in the correct place.

When playing on outdoor play equipment, students need bare feet to grip as they climb and for sensory development, and shoes can sometimes be a hazard. Parents should notify the staff if there are medical reasons why a student should not remove his/her shoes.

Just in case

In anticipation of accidents, parents are asked to leave a marked plastic bag containing an old outfit (including underwear) in the student's school bag. Please remember to label each piece of clothing.
