Eagle Junction State School is governed by the Enrolment Management Plan . All students who reside within the local catchment area (must provide the require proof of residency documents) or currently have a sibling at school; and are eligible for enrolment in the educational program offered by the school are automatically entitled to an enrolment in Prep and other Year levels.
The first step to enrolment is determining if you reside within the catchment - please check your home address on Department of Education Catchment Area Map.
Prep 2027 In-Catchment Enrolment
Prep 2027 Enrolment Packs for students in catchment will be accepted via email (preferred), from 9am on 23 February 2026 (the year prior to intended enrolment and no sooner).
All in catchment enrolment applications will only be accepted after producing proof of residency documentation (see required supporting documentation below) and your child's birth certificate. Please submit your completed Enrolment Pack with required supporting documentation to the Enrolment Officer via email to enrolments@eaglejunctionss.eq.edu.au
Year 1-6 In-Catchment Enrolments
If you wish to be considered for an enrolment, please submit your completed Enrolment Pack with required supporting documentation to the Enrolment Officer via email to enrolments@eaglejunctionss.eq.edu.au.
All in catchment enrolment applications will only be accepted after producing proof of residency documentation (see required supporting documentation below) and your child's birth certificate.
A booking will then be made by phone or email, to arrange an enrolment interview once ALL documents have been received. This is done with the understanding that acceptance of the enrolment will be confirmed by the school after the completion of the enrolment interview.
Organise uniforms and other school requirements before the children begin at the school by emailing ejssuniformshop@gmail.com.

Required Supporting Documentation
Students whose principal place of residence is within the school's catchment area are entitled to enrol, subject to the Education Act. Places are reserved for students who move into the catchment throughout the school year.
Required proof of residency
Parents or legal guardians must provide one document from each category:
Primary document — provide one:
- Current rental or lease agreement
- Current rates notice
- Unconditional contract of sale
Secondary document — provide one:
- Current electricity or gas bill
Both documents must show the in-catchment address and the parent or legal guardian's name.
A statutory declaration does not ordinarily replace these required documents. In exceptional circumstances, the Principal may approve a properly sworn statutory declaration in place of one required document. Approval is at the Principal's discretion, and further evidence may be requested.
Additional verification
If the documents do not adequately establish that the address is the student's principal place of residence, the Principal may request additional evidence, including:
- Further utility bills or consecutive bills showing ongoing residency
- Electoral roll verification
- A mobile phone statement
- A driver's licence
- A bank statement or tax assessment notice (financial details may be concealed)
- Evidence of a recent move, such as the sale or termination of the lease for the previous residence
- A properly sworn statutory declaration
Students living with another person
If a student will live with a relative or another person within the catchment, the following must also be provided:
- A properly sworn statutory declaration from the student's parent or legal guardian; and
- A properly sworn statutory declaration from the person with whom the student will reside.
The Principal may request further evidence and interviews with the relevant parties to confirm the living arrangement.
Providing false or misleading information about a student's principal place of residence may constitute an offence and may be reported to police. The Principal may also withdraw an enrolment decision made on the basis of false or misleading information.
