Prep 2027 Out-of-Catchment Enrolments
Prep 2027 Enrolment Packs for students out-of-catchment will be accepted via email only, from 9am on Monday 20 April 2026 and no sooner. If you wish to apply for a Prep 2027 Out-of-Catchment position at Eagle Junction State School., please submit your completed Enrolment Pack with supporting documents to the Enrolment Officer via: OutOfCatchmentEnrolments@eaglejunctionss.eq.edu.au
N.B Enrolment applications only remain valid for the year applied for.
Year 1 to Year 6 Out-of-Catchment Enrolments
Out-of-catchment Enrolment Packs for all other year levels will be accepted via email. Please ensure you include all supporting documentation.
Eagle Junction State School gives preference to in-catchment enrolments. If there are available spaces within our school facilities, the Principal may decide to open out-of-catchment enrolments.
Out-of-catchment enrolments will be processed in the order they are received, but this does not guarantee enrolment at Eagle Junction State School. Enrolments are considered firstly on year level vacancies. There is other criteria, including the Enrolment Management Plan.

Required Supporting Documentation
Proof of Child's Age and Identity
- Original birth certificate - the purpose of a birth certificate is not only to verify the child's details (ie age and identity), but also to establish that the person applying for the enrolment is a parent of the child, and therefore eligible and obliged to enrol them
- Passport (if the child is born overseas)
- Visas for Parents and Child (if applicable)
- International Passport Holders - the student's passport, visa and an "Authority to Enrol" email from Education Queensland International (EQI)
