Instrumental Music Student Resource Scheme
The Student Resource Scheme (SRS) is to provide a convenient and cost-effective way for students to access educational resources necessary to enhance their learning experience at school.
The Student Resource Scheme - Levy supports the delivery of the Instrumental Music program by covering essential items and services. This includes the Instrumental Music District Levy, lesson materials (eg sheet music), printing/photocopying, and consumable emergency supplies such as slide/valve oil, reeds, neck straps, and chin rests.
The SRS Levy is payable by all students participating in the Instrumental Music program.
The Student Resource Scheme - Hire Fee contributes towards the annual servicing of school-owned instruments. This servicing covers general wear and tear due to normal use. Please note: this fee does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or abuse. It also does not replace the requirement for students to purchase their own maintenance and cleaning items (eg cloths, oils, reeds, etc), which remain the responsibility of parents/carers.
The Student Resource Scheme is invoiced at the beginning of the new school year and is payable by the end of Term 1.
The fees and inclusions will be endorsed annually by the P & C and parents will be provided with annual information regarding the SRS fees and inclusions. Excursions and incursions will be invoiced separately as they occur throughout the year.
Parents/carers opting to join the Student Resource Scheme must sign a declaration to agree to pay the Student Resource Scheme. Parents/carers choosing not to participate in the Student Resource Scheme will be required to independently source the additional resources.
Particpation forms are completed via QParents and detailed information is sent home via email to participating students.
