2-Minute Zone
Before using the 2-Minute Zone
Families wishing to use the zone need to request a “Look Out" card from the school. Display this card clearly at the front of your vehicle so staff can identify your family.
How afternoon pick up works
- After the 2:45pm bell, join the vehicle queue by entering Roseby Terrace via Armagh Street.
- Students using the 2-Minute Zone wait in the designated Pick-Up Zone near the end of C Block/Hall.
- School staff supervise students and the vehicle queue.
- As vehicles approach the collection point, staff read the family name displayed on the Look Out card and call the student/s forward.
- Students enter the vehicle and families move on promptly to keep the queue flowing.
If your child is not collected
Any student remaining in the Pick-Up Zone after collection has finished will be taken to the school office. Staff will contact parents/carers to arrange collection.
Please remember: The 2-Minute Zone is designed for quick collection. Following staff directions and having your Look Out card clearly displayed helps keep the area safe and the queue moving efficiently.
