Our commitment to inclusion
At Eagle Junction State School, we are committed to fostering an inclusive culture where every student feels safe, valued and supported to achieve their personal best.
We believe that inclusive education is the foundation for equity and excellence, and that all students - regardless of background, ability or need - have the right to participate in all aspects of school life.
We embrace the Queensland Department of Education's Inclusive Education Policy, which states that:
“Inclusive education means that students can access and fully participate in learning, alongside their similar-aged peers, supported by reasonable adjustments and teaching strategies tailored to meet their individual needs."

Our Student Support Services Team works collaboratively with teachers, families and external professionals to ensure reasonable adjustments and personalised support are in place, so every student can learn, grow and thrive.
Inclusion isn't a separate program - it's at the heart of everything we do. We believe that when students feel a sense of belonging, they are more confident, more engaged, and better equipped to succeed - both in the classroom and beyond.
